Full Job Description
As our Principal or Senior Engineer, you will be in a senior role within the development team, providing a high quality and inspirational contribution to the team. The development team has a wide and varied role which supplies specialist engineering support to the technical function. We expect that you will have worked previously in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. The seniority level of the job role will depend upon your experience and qualifications.,
- To work closely with the engineering teams, preparing high quality images, drawings and documentation that both assists and enhances the output across the entire department.
- Providing support and guidance to other team members and developing systems/processes that maintain consistency throughout.
- Expert or advanced user in AutoCAD and Revit, and able to offer mentoring and guidance to other technicians.
- Undertake specific project work as necessary and be able to manage own workload and the work of others effectively.
- Lead on innovation, take responsibility for developing best practices for efficient software use and new ways of working.
Revit design should be your passion. You like to create and produce accurate work and take pride in what you do. - You will be keen to help drive forward continuous improvements using your own ideas to improve the quality, accuracy and ease of drawing & model production.
- As a quick learner and a self-starter you will have the ability to organise your own time well to complete projects.
- You will be driven to improve existing ways of working and contribute to the technical team in a collaborative way.
- Autodesk Revit - extensive user experience required.
- AutoCAD - extensive user experience required.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
