Full Job Description

We are looking for an experience clinical pharmacist with demonstrated leadership skills to join our Trust. This role is pivotal in ensuring a high quality clinical pharmacy service alongside the delivery of the Technical services.

The postholder will work across the Trust to manage a large team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Main duties of the job

1. To be responsible for the strategic leadership of the clinical pharmacy service to the Cancer division across the Trust.

2. To manage the Pharmacy Technical Services manager to ensure robust provision of the technical service in partnership with the clinical service.

3. To be responsible for the coordination and delivery of a responsive, proactive, patient-focused clinical pharmacy service to the Cancer division across the Trust. This will include the promotion of safe, effective and cost-effective medicines use to facilitate patient admission and support patient flow, and enhance continuity of care across the SE London integrated care system.

4. To support the division in managing their drugs budget and developing the pharmacy service, as well as the wider Cancer service., 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream
