Full Job Description

We are looking for a thoughtful, compassionate and innovative highly specialist (Principal) Practitioner Psychologist with expertise in health care provision for adults living with health conditions. This role will include team lead responsibilities for a team of practitioner psychologists working with adult oncology and haematology patients. It will also involve shared responsibilities for the leadership of a new multidisciplinary service delivering holistic care to people impacted by the infected blood inquiry. Provision will include clinical services, research and quality improvement including dissemination, and training and consultation to other partner services and agencies. Close working with partnership organisations will be a feature of the role., Highly Specialist clinical care and leadership, to ensure the systematic provision of a psychology service to adult haematology and oncology patients and those eligible for the Infected Blood Psychology Service.

Training, clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate.

Joint working, consultation, training and service development activities.

Research relating to service delivery.

Management and supervision of staff., people and vulnerable adults.
