Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer to join our Process Development team within our wider R&D function!

What you'll be responsible for:

Performing a leading role within our innovation and supply chain team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and executing the deployment of new technologies which unlock new possibilities for both our Quorn and Cauldron products.

Your role will focus on developing new technologies which deliver new product attributes at higher quality or lower cost, whilst looking to improve current manufacturing processes along with key external partners such as equipment manufacturers and academic institutions.

This role will be predominately based at our primary manufacturing site in Stokesley, along with requiring occasional travel to our commercial office in Leeds and further manufacturing site in Methwold (Norfolk).

Extensive background in process engineering/development across different roles

- Demonstrable track record of leading large technical developments/projects within a manufacturing environment

- Ability to lead scale up of technologies from concept to full manufacturing roll-out, along with background of working closely within product/packaging innovation teams

- Ideally be university degree educated in food science/technology

- Be based within a commutable distance of our Stokesley site (2-3 days per week) with flexibility to travel to Leeds & Methwold
