As a Location Independent Worker, for operational reasons you may be required to perform your duties, either temporarily or permanently, from any of Vodafone's UK offices or customer sites within a reasonable geographic area of your home address. Our "Office in a Box" home working kit will provide you with everything you need, no matter where you are., The Pre-Sales Principal Service Consultant is a senior role within the Pre-Sales Service Consultancy job family, and therefore demonstrates significant experience and knowledge in the field, with a track record of success in developing successful service architectures within complex environments. Their primary role will be to engage across a range of contact points within a customer organisation and determine the service model which will complement a technology solution required to provide market-leading service to that customer. This is a customer-facing role, supporting the largest and most complex opportunities and accounts within VBSE. The Pre-Sales Principal Service Consultant will typically own the definition of bespoke service models for complex customer solutions, the nature, criticality, and scale of some of these opportunities allows our solutions to influence and "change the way Britain works".

  • Mastery of ITILv3 or v4 preferably with certification
  • Extensive experience as a senior / lead Service Consultant / Architect on complex customer opportunities and programmes.
  • Background in Telecommunications, IT or Customer/Support Services.
  • Communication skills - the ability to write and present low to medium subject matters in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to determine the critical success factor of delivery
  • Strong personal impact, self-disciplined and personal drive.
  • Willingness to develop and adapt to meet changing client and market expectations.
  • A team player willing to support and work with others.
  • Significant problem-solving ability using innovation and initiative.
  • Effective interpersonal and analytical skill
