At Hammersmith & Fulham, we are ambitious in reforming the council to ensure this is a place for everybody. Within the Environment Department, we offer a wide range of services to help make the borough an attractive place, one that is safe, clean and green and one in which our residents take pride.

We are looking for an experienced transport professional to join the Transport Department and lead a multidisciplinary team of specialists across services. As part of the team, you will work closely with colleagues across Environment, Public Realm, Capital Projects, Highways, Parking and the Economy department alongside other directorates across the council.

As the knowledge and innovation hub for Environment you will explore opportunities for pilot schemes and lead the way to achieve the Councils priorities while ensuring good governance, monitoring, quality assurance and delivery. The team will work to align priorities and build long term relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders to ensure the Councils ambitions and aspirations are realised.

The role is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the transport, public realm and climate change agendas. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future priorities for place and infrastructure through policy making, scheme conception, sponsoring major scheme delivery within a multidisciplinary and challenging context.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our forward thinking and collaborative team.

Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision. If you're looking to develop your career in a fast-paced, professional environment whilst making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
