Full Job Description

  • Liaise with Board prep/press ops for each press.
  • Check handover notes and ensure they are up to date.
  • Check the daily plan for print/cut and pile turning/airing material requirements.
  • Liaise with the Cut/Crease Assistant to establish Cut/Crease requirements.
  • Move product around Print department to facilitate production.
  • Ensure correct quality and quantity of board is sent to the Print Presses
  • Ensure that all waste is accounted for, banded, and moved to allocated waste collection area.
  • Ensure that all tanks and alcohol are filled, and waste barrels emptied.
  • Ensure that all materials are stored correctly.
  • Maintain safe working practices on machinery.
  • Conformance to factory hygiene standards.
  • Conformance to safe housekeeping standards.
  • Ensuring work environment is clean and safe.
  • Assist with Wash up and make readies.
  • Any other duties as necessary
  • Adherence to Health and Safety best practices in line with Company policy and current legislation.
