You will also be smart in appearance, respectful and caring of both the deceased and the families that we serve.As an ambulance operative covering the Reactive day shift, the core hours will be discussed during the interview stage, these will be 12 hour shifts on a 4 on
4 off shift pattern. this will include an unpaid 1 hour lunch break. The team has more than 30 years' experience of serving the bereaved and the people that matter to them.The main purpose of the role is collecting the deceased from the place of containment and bringing them back to our care at our modern purpose built facility in Knutsford. You will largely work on your own, but if the circumstances require it you will be teamed up with a colleague.The successful candidate will be responsible for:To collect the deceased from their place of containment and bring them into the Company's care in a manner which affords the deceased both respect and dignity, in line with the Company's process and procedures and prevailing best practice.To Encoffin the deceased once in our care, using the best practice - Manual Handling skills
