Full Job Description
The Private Patient Serviceplays a key role in the financial sustainability of the Trust.The post holder willbe requiredto undertakea range of duties relating to the finance function of the service.Youwillbe responsible forraising invoices for each element of the business including inpatient services,outpatients,and imagingplus new business developments.
The role involvesworking with all functions who undertake private workto interrogate systems to capture private work undertaken andto ensure invoicing to insurers, patients andour suppliers istimelyandaccurate.
This role willsupportthe clinical services manager andclinical servicesupport manager with tasks to ensure the following of effective processes to ensure all financial and activity reporting requirements are met.
The role does link closely with the finance team andwill berequiredtomeet regularlywith the finance business partner.
Beresponsible fortheaccurateandtimelyinvoicing of all Trust private patient activity.
Coordinate data relating to paymentwith services that provide private patient activities (including but not limited to, private patient admin team, imaging, outpatient, and physiotherapy)
Work with the private patient administrators to ensure that all admission paperworkrelating to payment is completed andaccurateand filed in the patient notes.
Review system information and assess data before accurately and efficiently entering numerical and financial outcomes into a variety of IT systemsin order toestablishchargeable items for billing and produce invoices for all private patient services.
