Full Job Description

The Privilege Access Management (PAM) Lead at Royal Mail Group will be responsible for supporting in the implementation and running of Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools, technologies, and service offerings. By leveraging leading-edge technologies, driving innovative approaches, improving efficiency, increasing security posture, supporting aggressive growth and by improving privileged IT user and access experience.

Role and responsibilities

As the PAM Lead you will be responsible for the deployment and maturity of our PAM platforms, and lead in the design of Privilege Access controls rules, roles, and policies, while ensuring consistency regardless of technologies in use.

You will be responsible for installation, integration, and maintenance one or more Privilege Access Management products such as CyberArk. You will evaluate and support complex PAM technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement and maintain standards of excellence across all areas of delivery, including user experience, accessibility, reliability, and performance.

Working with Cyber Security and Infrastructure you will embed PAM best practices for both on premise and cloud based solutions for employees, and partners. You will build relationships with key business stakeholders, project teams, operational teams, and service providers to define standards, target state design, integration principles and implementation frameworks for PAM across RMG.

  • Experience in the development and deploying of PAM tools like CyberArk.

  • Strong Cyber Security knowledge (ideally from technical experience).

  • Experience of working in both an agile and non-agile environment.

  • Experience in driving effective process and technology change.

  • Supporting an Enterprise wide Cyber Security Change programme.

  • Confident stakeholder management or both internal and third party resources.
