Full Job Description

As a Year in Industry Student, you will be involved in undertaking process design activities on Wood's current projects. You will typically be required to:

  • Work within the various Process Engineering design teams on Wood's current projects.

  • Undertake process design calculations for, hydraulics, equipment sizing and safety related devices, preparing Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment Specifications and other process documents.

  • Assist in the production of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams and other process drawings as required.

  • Assist the Lead Process Engineers in undertaking other non-technical tasks as directed, including tracking of comments on issued documents, updating progress measurement and schedule programs, recording actions in project review and HAZOP meetings.

    Must be studying for an MEng in a Chemical Engineering-related discipline, which must be an IChemE accredited degree course

  • Enthusiasm to work and develop your career in Chemical Engineering

  • Demonstrate initiative, tenacity and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
