There is an exciting secondment opportunity for a Process Support Technician within C Block Inhalations and Derms at GSK's manufacturing site, Barnard Castle. As a Process Support Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the Production areas are fully supported in terms of Compliance, Project, Digital, OE and NPI activity. You will provide the support required to be Audit Ready and fully compliant with Safety and Quality standards, while monitoring and issuing feedback on all Health and Safety, Quality and compliance systems.   • Support MSAT / capital projects as customers rep, including design development, factory acceptance testing, installation, validation, commissioning and associated documentation.
  • Work with the MES & MSAT teams to create digital recipes, flows, config specs etc.
  • Dry Running and Testing of Digital Systems in the MES and eBRS environments and the raising & completion of Method Statements using the Kneat Digital System.
  • Ensure Compliance with QMS / Group Quality Policies (G.Q.P.'s), EHS policies and Site Procedures and that the area is continually in an audit ready state and fully compliant with Quality and Health and Safety Standards, support the area during audits.
  • Complete actions arising from Audits, local improvement initiatives, project plans and liaise with Contractors on matters concerning work / projects.
  • Change / update GXP parts reference manuals for Equipment Preparation / Manufacturing areas and support the effective use of the Operational Support budget., We believe in an agile working culture for all our roles.   • Be able to apply current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), explaining its fundamental importance to pharmaceutical manufacture.
  • Operate complex, technical processes, both manual and automatic, adhering to safety and GMP standards.
  • Flexible to working hours that suit the needs of the business.
  • Be able to troubleshoot problems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Good written skills to write SOPs, training packages.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, assessing safety risks and implementing process improvements.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Be computer literate with experience or ability to quickly learn a number of different systems such as MERP, electronic batch record and Dispense/Weigh Systems, Siemens PCS7, PIMMS, Erwin Case wise, Microsoft Office, Veeva.
