Full Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join our growing procurement team, led by our new Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), and will report into a member of the newly created Procurement Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a background in spend data analysis and procurement processes. As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing procurement data, identifying trends, and providing insights that will drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and strategic decision-making. You will work closely across the Procurement Leadership Team, and wider Procurement team to support and drive the functions objectives.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Spend Analysis: Conduct spend analysis to track and report on procurement spend, ensuring alignment with wider Procurement team.
- Supplier Performance: Support the develop of supplier performance modules in order for IFS Group to enhance the way we interact and manage supply base.
- Market Research: Conduct market data research to support sourcing decisions, including identifying potential suppliers and benchmarking pricing.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports on key procurement metrics, providing insights and recommendations to Procurement Leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to procurement processes, leveraging data to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement team members and other departments to gather data, understand business needs, and support procurement initiatives.
- Technology Utilisation: Utilise procurement software and tools to manage data, generate reports, and enhance procurement processes.
