- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies alongside Category Managers to ensure quality, value, and compliance in procurement.
- Leading and improving utilities contract management to achieve cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Implementing a robust Contract Management Standard to deliver outstanding performance outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, driving collaboration and innovation.
- Embedding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high standards across all contracts.
- Transforming utilities processes, managing energy contracts, and driving improvements for the benefit of customers.
- Supporting the Head of Procurement with supplier risk management, training delivery, and compliance auditing.

- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost-saving delivery, and quality improvement.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Analytical, proactive, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- CIPS qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
