  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies alongside Category Managers to ensure quality, value, and compliance in procurement.
  • Leading and improving utilities contract management to achieve cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Implementing a robust Contract Management Standard to deliver outstanding performance outcomes.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Embedding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high standards across all contracts.
  • Transforming utilities processes, managing energy contracts, and driving improvements for the benefit of customers.
  • Supporting the Head of Procurement with supplier risk management, training delivery, and compliance auditing.

  • Strong expertise in contract and supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and change implementation.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost-saving delivery, and quality improvement.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Analytical, proactive, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • CIPS qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
