Full Job Description

  • This is an exciting role offering full responsibility for our Procurement data, systems, and processes, giving you the opportunity to make a difference in the way in which we operate both within Procurement and BOC
  • You will own and lead the delivery of all of our procurement processes, and be actively be involved in not only validating our processes but also the standardisation and improvement of them to achieve operational excellence.
  • Including ownership of some of our key processes such as The Procurement Master Data, Source to Contract, Purchase to Pay, Spend Analytics and Procurement reporting
  • You will require particular understanding of the control and management of our supplier setup and maintenance processes along with the ability to trouble shoot, provide assurance and improvements.
  • Alongside this, you will support with the troubleshooting and resolution of our Purchase to Pay process and issues, as well optimising related processes to ensure a more accurate and efficient overall process.
  • You will be an expert in our current and future Procurement systems and their functionality, therefore is required to be a support channel for the business on the Procurement systems and provide any go live and post go live support.
  • You will also create and provide the right training for all end users to embed and ensure understanding, compliance, and competence of the systems In addition, you will be responsible for andessential in helping to drive the team's performance on productivityimprovements using available analytics and turning it into value added data

  • High level knowledge of best practice processes, systems, and tools across Procurement and Supplier Management processes (Master Data, Source to Contract, Purchase-To-Pay)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence others and develop positive working relationships both internally and externally across all levels
  • Comfortable in collaborating at both a local regional level but globally on initiatives
  • High level of self-motivation and tenacity to drive and deliver results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous project management experience from concept to implementation with an ability to identify new opportunities and sustainable improvements
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvements, savings, and best practices with ability to influence change successfully cross-functionally
  • Technical expertise and working knowledge of procurement relevant systems and tools such as; SAP ERP MM & FI, BW, other reporting systems / databases as well as how they integrate with processes
  • Experience in an ERP implementation - ideally SAP S / 4 Hana but previous SAP systems will be sufficient
  • Experience andknowledge in Ariba (including - SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba ContractManagement, SAP Ariba Supplier Management, SAP Ariba Purchase to Pay) act as atrusted role model and advisor with the system
