Procurement Officer

Walsall Council is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to support our Construction and Works category. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes, including open tenders and Frameworks under the Public Contracts Regulations. While the role is primarily remote, you will be required to attend team collaboration days once a month and potentially site meetings as needed.,

• Lead procurement processes for construction and works projects.
• Ensure compliance with Public Contracts Regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend occasional on-site meetings and team days.
  
  Strong knowledge of the construction sector.
• Proven experience in end-to-end procurement processes.
• Familiarity with Public Contracts Regulations and procurement frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and attend on-site meetings when required.
