Full Job Description

Staircraft Group Ltd, the world's largest staircase supplier and Europe's sole i-Joist and Floor-Kit manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Planner to join our dynamic team. As a Planner at Staircraft, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of our high-quality products.

Are you an experienced procurement planner looking to be part of a fantastic team in an innovative, growing manufacturing organisation in the construction industry?

We are currently recruiting for this exciting role as part of a small team that reports to the Commercial Manager/Director to manage the full product lifecycle through the business whilst ensuring that the inventory stays within agreed KPIs.

The role overview includes responsibility for creating and managing the annual total product forecast and to support the leadership team with regular management information reports.

Accountabilities also include:

  • Create daily, weekly & monthly reporting for all inventory holdings.

  • Managing inventory usage and replenishment across key areas.

  • Implement improvement processes and systems to optimise inventory, reduce costs and improve working capital.

  • Supplier forecast management and inventory control.

  • Working with factory teams to ensure reporting is optimised as per the inventory requirements.

  • Responsible for managing internal stock count calendar.

  • Deliver analysis and reports to support decision making.

  • Support SLT with projected demands.

    Previous relevant experience as a procurement planner is essential

  • IT literate ( MS Office and relevant software/ product file management)

  • Excellent communication skills including report writing.
