Full Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with all parts of the business to support their procurement needs, which will include conducting go-to-market tendering exercises to procure payment partners, technology vendors, and payroll service providers. You will be regularly liaising with key departmental stakeholders demonstrating an ability to contribute & lead on strategic initiative projects that align to the wider organizational objectives. You will be responsible for conducting PQQ, RFI's, RFP's & other methods of tendering through a Strategic Sourcing Tool. As well as managing the end-to-end commercial & contractual negotiations, creating & demonstrating cost value creation within our organisation. The role will then have ongoing responsibility for supporting all the in-life procurement-related activities for a dedicated number of global suppliers, including strategic negotiations & contractual renewals or amendments. Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to promote Procurement values & objectives effectively, including policies, systems and processes.
  • Independently being responsible for completing end-to-end tendering exercises, evidencing cost & value creation.
  • Managing all in-life Procurement-related activities for a dedicated number of Global Suppliers.
  • Management of a variety of initiative projects that align to the business objectives.
  • Delivering all aspects of the role within the desired & expected timeframes for each scope of work, taking accountability and ownership for delivering on time, accurately & to a business exp

    Demonstrable procurement experience with a clear understanding of core procurement methodology.
  • Experience in conducting tendering exercises.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of negotiation tactics, approaches & techniques.
  • Experience in negotiating & handling contractual documents.
  • Experience in communicating with key organisational stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global supply chains, preferred.
  • CIPS network member preferred.
