Would you like to help shape and implement Baker Hughes regional procurement strategies? Would you like to collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams? Join our Procurement and Sourcing team! Our Procurement Team provides support for oilfield services and drilling services product line. We are in contact with local and international suppliers to collaborate, innovate and ensure part availability for our production and customers. We manage the buying process and engage in commercial sourcing management to achieve the best contractual conditions. Partner with the best As Procurement Specialist, you'll take ownership for the sourcing and buying process. You will provide support to cross-functional teams on a variety of projects that will require your knowledge and contribution. Using your knowledge of the market and vendors, you will build trusted relationships with suppliers and internal teams. As Procurement Specialist (d/f/m), you will be responsible for:
- Attending recurring progress, review calls with vendors to monitor execution, address critical issues
- Taking ownership of recurring planning reviews to keep up to speed on the latest internal planning on your category
- Managing risk mitigation and recovery plans with suppliers to assure On-Time Delivery
- Driving the inventory input targets by rearranging vendors schedules according to the planned
- Interacting with Logistics to ensure shipment execution and warehouse to assure delivery of goods is done in a timely manner
- Working with the Engineering Team to address potential technical issues during supplier's manufacturing
- Updating the ERP based on the supplierâs updated schedule to ensure the latest is reflected for the rest of the company
Have successfully completed your studies in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or closely related field - Have experience working in cross-functional project teams or matrix environment
- Have proven experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain working with complex contracts for the supply of goods or services
- Have extensive problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
- Have good experience in managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
- Have solid experience in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data manipulation tools such as (PowerBI, Power Query, SQL, etc).
- Have first experience with at least one programming language (Python, C, C++, R, etc)
