Full Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement and SRM Partner to join the Guinness team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in our London office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style, working 2 days per week in the office and 3 from home. As such, it is a requirement for candidates to be able to work 2 days per week from the location mentioned above.

Our Procurement and SRM team have recently undergone a large and exciting transformation, introducing contract and supplier management standards and support into the purpose of the team. This has included 'Partner' roles where individuals have their own portfolios of work to manage. With the upcoming implementation of the new Procurement Act 2023, Guinness are seeing this as further opportunity to continue the transformation of our Procurement and SRM function.

The main purpose of the role is to develop and deliver expert support in procurement and contract management to achieve value for money throughout Guinness.

Essential:

Experience of procurement in a service orientated and commercial environment.
Experience of adding value and additional commercial benefit through the development of constructive supplier relationships.
Experience of managing the complete tendering process.
Proven project / programme management experience including ability to manage large scale multiple projects concurrently.
Experience of implementing Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators in relation to Contract Management.
Excellent knowledge of the UK's procurement regulatory requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of business management principles including decision making, negotiation, planning, budgeting and projections.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
Desirable:

Experience of working within a procurement function across a geographically dispersed environment., Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
MCIPS qualified and/or equivalent.
