Full Job Description

The role of a Producer is to work as part of a multidisciplinary film team and collaborate with all business units within Prose on Pixels to consistently deliver visually excellent work. You will be responsible for a variety of projects ranging from commercials to documentaries, brand films, livestreams, and animations that are fit for web, social and congress. You will understand the requirements of each project and be part of the team that devises the best route forward, paying particular attention to how to achieve a great creative, cost effective and efficient solution.
Job Description :
Technical knowledge and specialism

  • Devise production schedules to meet agreed delivery deadlines, act as a main point of contact for all parties throughout the project


  • Complete all necessary risk assessments, call sheets and production administration with the help of the Assistant Producer


  • Take responsibility for the quality control of assets, and cross-check them against briefs and guidelines before submitting for approval


  • Troubleshoot any problems that might occur during the completion of a job, informing Client Services or Creative as appropriate


  • Manage all internal or external providers, including, animators, voiceover artists, etc. Be able to make recommendations to the teams as to a suitable shortlist, based on understanding of the project and associated context


  • Work with external bodies and companies in relation to edit or animation and music rights organisation


  • Share ideas and possible solutions to client needs with Creative and Client Services leads by developing a strong understanding of key clients, their brands, products, people and services

  • Develop and maintain close and productive relationships


  • Ensure requests are dealt with promptly and that expectations are managed in terms of speed, delivery and quality of response


  • Attend client meetings in a consultative capacity throughout all phases of projects if required


  • Distinguish between a good and poor client brief and if necessary, ask the right questions to help formulate a clearer brief before it is accepted


  • Administration and financial management
  • Ensure a systematic and efficient job filing system is maintained


  • Provide initial cost estimates and accurately budget productions to maintain agreed levels of profitability


  • Monitor and reconcile profitability and ongoing costs throughout assigned projects


  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Come well prepared to briefing meetings with Client Services, Creative Directors or Clients to develop a thorough understanding of the brief and how your contribution fits within this
