Full Job Description

The Product Development Advisor is responsible for product and market analysis, legislative research and product development providing assistance in relation to UK and international products. This includes drafting new and bespoke policy wordings and acting as a point-of-contact for technical queries from all stakeholders.Your tasks

  • Competitor & Product Analysis Regularly prepare the information required & assist with the review of the market, the activity of our competitors & the performance of our product mix.
  • Customer Service Work closely with internal customers to assist with their requirements in respect of product and market knowledge & assist with the drafting of bespoke product literature as necessary.
  • Work Flow Management Plan & prioritise own work to meet internal customer/project requirements.
  • Compliance Assist with product reviews/updates taking into account regulatory, legal & internal standards & requirements.
  • Communication Work effectively with all stakeholders (including brokers, solicitors, underwriters and suppliers of services to the Company).
  • Support Provide ongoing support to others but without line management responsibility. Take part in ad-hoc projects, assist with L&D Plans & take ownership of the function's SharePoint folders.
  • Learning & Development Take responsibility for own learning needs & objectives. Assist in the development of the company wide knowledge & skills base.

    Graduate or equivalent &/or good level of education (min. 5 GCSE Grade C+) with 2+ years relevant experience. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications. Good numeracy & literacy skills. Experience of insurance / financial services. CII qualified or working towards. Experience of research & analysis. Graduate or equivalent.
