Full Job Description

Purpose: To support the development teams with product development activities and fostering positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Your Duties Will Include:

  • Support the creation and refinement of recipes in line with customer requirements and expectations
  • Active involvement in the kitchen with the creation of samples and food for key meetings
  • Organise and set up customer and internal presentations and events
  • Co-ordinate sample requests - obtaining samples and booking couriers ensuring timely delivery
  • Support product developers with completion of relevant NPD documents
  • Support maintenance of Recipe Processor software for the site and NPD actions
  • Assist with the sourcing and viability of new raw materials in line with department and customer requirements
  • Follow the critical path timelines and support mitigation activities
  • Assist with customer specification information collection and approval of artwork
  • Complete benchmarking documents, store visits and support panels

  • Keen interest in food looking to start or continue career in food manufacturing
  • Knowledge of product launch process (desirable)
  • Food based / culinary qualification (desirable)
  • Confident in the kitchen with positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good planning, organisation and project management skills
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Understanding of UK and European food regulation and legislation
  • Driving Licence (desirable)
