About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Engineer to join our Nucleus design system team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with designers, developers, and the teams using the design system to create and maintain the core components, tools and guidelines to bring consistency, accessibility, and exceptional user experiences for our customers.,

  • Design System Development: Grow and refine our design system, including components, documentation, and tools
  • UI Component Creation: Develop and maintain reusable UI components that adhere to our design guidelines
  • Code Quality: Ensure code is clean, efficient, and sustainable, following industry best practices
  • Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand project needs and translate them into design system features, Our people are the beating heart of our business.     What We Need from You:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
  • UX/UI Principles: Strong understanding of user experience and interface design principles
  • Accessibility: Good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Web Components: Experience with technologies like Lit (preferred)
  • Design Systems: Experience in using design systems to build interfaces (nice to have)
  • Responsive Design: Knowledge of responsive web design practices
  • CI/CD: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes, Problem-Solving: Creative and inventive in solving challenges
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Strategic Analysis: Insightful in strategic system analysis
