Why join our team? The Tablet & Mobile Enhancement team consists of the Tablet, True Wireless, Watch, Ring, Fitness Band & Memory categories. It resides as a key element of the wider Product Management team, which supports product leadership in the SEUK MX division. We are leaders with vision, and instigators in the development and implementation of the market wide category plans. We utilise product knowledge, market insight, analytics, sales channel dynamics & feedback, and business ambition. These support us to commercially craft, gain alignment and implement plans, delivering market share & revenue within profit guidelines. Navigating and gaining support from key collaborators across MX, ETO (European Office) and Suwon (Korean office) we look to deliver against core targets, while aligning to the key business metrics and evolving objectives. Role and Responsibilities Your responsibilities The role requires the leadership of a team of skilled Product Managers and Product Executives to create, coordinate and deliver the quarterly through our direct and indirect channel partners. Demonstrating and fostering relationships across multiple departments, the role will ultimately lead the quarterly plan, its implementation in the sales channels and its successful execution.

  • Create a world class team; coaching, mentoring and developing them into an efficient, empowered organisation with clearly defined roles, cadence and structures that becomes greater than the sum of its parts
  • Deeply understand, interpret and champion Samsung Tablet & Mobile Enhancement products, their consumers, competitors and sales channels
  • Ensure the plan created by the team is within the key critical metrics revenue, volume, market share, investment and profit objectives determined by the Head of Division and Business Strategy Directors
  • Drive more integrated collaboration with the wider MX pier group to ensure alignment and consensus of the plan with clear feedback loop and issue management. Work with the pier group including Suwon & ETO to identify areas of improvement, risks and solutions to ensure effective delivery
  • Support the quarterly commercial planning process collaborating cross functionally to ensure all functions are supplying the integral input
  • Head and approve the sell-out forecasting for the categories at SKU level (customer, colour, memory variant), and align with demand planning & sales operations on the sell-in that this can generate to ensure MX achieves its sell-in revenue target
  • Own the response to changes in the market and actual performance to update, evolve and implement new activities and actions, to recover or capitalise on MX critical metrics and objectives
  • Your key people management responsibilities
  • Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.
  • Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
  • Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT's and relevant business updates.
  • Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.
  • Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.
  • To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values., Successful conclusion of revenue and market share objectives within the sales period.
  • On time delivery, approval and execution of quarterly plans
  • Implementation of processes and cadence to enable proactive action to orientate to challenges to our revenue or market share.
  • Successful weekly control of supply revenue and management of risk.
  • Holding channels and departments to account on their commitments.
  • Alignment of the teams' delivery to the SEUK weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence

    Passionate about mobile products and driving plans to deliver their commercial success
  • Experience in leading and growing a commercially focussed team
  • Experience of the UK Retail and Operator mobile sales channels
  • Understanding of pricing structures and sales techniques
  • Ability to rapidly adjust focus given changing business and market requirements.
  • Hold and develop relationships across the sales team and their channels
  • Outstanding Excel skills
