Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced individual to join the Product & Business Management team, reporting to the Head of Product & Business Management and working closely with the team lead for product governance. For our products and services offering, the role is key in driving adherence and alignment to our regulatory obligations in Europe and the UK and, in meeting these obligations, ensuring we drive associated efficiencies across the business - with the goal of delivering good outcomes to our clients. The role holder will be responsible for continuing to develop, maintain and implement the product governance strategy, as well as undertaking day to day management of product governance activities.,
- Manage the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of the overall governance of our products and services to enhance the product shelf, client experience and achieve growth. Working closely with the second line of defence.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert for Product Governance, supporting Product Owners and ICS (Investment Client Solutions) colleagues across all products & services, to meet their regulatory requirements.
- Manage the new product approval process and periodic reviews, ensuring we continue to meet clients' needs and provide good outcomes to clients, whilst identifying and driving the relevant enhancements and change needed.
- Lead initiatives to implement Product Governance enhancements across all countries to meet regulatory requirements, whilst achieving commercial objectives.
- Manage delivery of product related Consumer Duty requirements (e.g. Fair Value Assessments), working closely with the UK Head of ICS and Consumer Duty Lead.
- Lead development and implementation of policies and procedures, to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Manage provision of information to all firms within our distribution chain to meet regulatory requirements including target market, sales MI and due diligence requirements.
- Input into the Group Investment & Product Committee (GIPC), providing proposals and updates where required, and manage key management tools such as the product library and product review tracker.
- Development and production of Product Governance Management Information.
- Support strategic projects and lead from a product governance / management perspective.
- Ownership of Compliance and Audit Actions, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and responses.
- Represent the Product & Business Management team in various formal and informal forums as required.
Experience within wealth management/financial services industry. Experience of working in a product management or related role. Understanding of UK & European product governance regulatory framework. Strong project management skills. Experience of driving and implementing initiatives across multiple locations. Experience of developing and implementing policies and procedure. Good analytical skills., Effective communicator (both written and verbal), with the ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders. Ability to build relationships across a range of stakeholders and locations. Strong client focus. Ability to prioritise and drive through results. Ability to analyse financial, market, client and competitor information. Self-motivated and flexibleLanguages Skills Fluent in English French, German or Dutch language skills would be an advantage (not essential)
