Full Job Description
- To lead the business strategy for a range of products, identifying opportunities for product and sales development.
- To develop and maintain up to date knowledge about the market for the product range, including competitor products, functionality and trends.
- To research, understand and prioritise customer requirements in order to inform product development.
- May co-ordinate product development activities
- To identify potential gaps in the market for new products
- To understand product pricing in the market, ensuring that company products are priced competitively.
- To translate customer/market needs into specifications for engineering or development projects.
- To lead the marketing activities in relation to the product range.
- To work closely with other functions in relation to the product range including sales, marketing, engineering, production and support to maximise customer satisfaction.
- To plan and organise activities relating to the products eg launches, re-branding etc. Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
