NOV Energy Equipment is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Manchester. You will provide strategic leadership for the product line throughout its lifecycle in this role. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day market requirements, introducing new product lines, overseeing launch and commercialisation phases, and facilitating new product development strategies. You will work closely with sales and engineering teams to ensure your strategies support market growth objectives. You will oversee key aspects of the product strategy include positioning, feature set, pricing, target segments, commercialisation timelines, and product line rationalisation. Your focus will be on driving top-line revenue growth, margin maximisation, marketing support, and geographical expansion. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify new and current market opportunities to exceed booking and revenue targets
- Develop strategic plans to deliver growth and increased profitability for the solids-handling business
- Continuously review and enhance our product portfolio to better support our distribution partners
- Identify market gaps where we can offer innovative solutions and commercialize them globally
- Provide financial updates, forecasts, and investment plans to support business planning
- Support regional teams with competency development and product training
- Present our service offerings and value propositions to new and existing customers
- Review and improve business processes to capture product enhancement opportunities
- Oversee the marketing strategy, including campaigns, communications, and brand management
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience - 10+ years in the industrial pumping, service, and aftermarket sector
- Track record of converting customer enquiries into profitable business
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute growth strategies
- Technical expertise to support onboarding and servicing of the product line
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of industry standards and production technologies
