Full Job Description

The Product Specialist, Global will report directly to the Senior Manager, Product Innovation, Global, and will lead and support the efficiency and growth of the Product Innovation team. This role is instrumental to help bring innovation to market faster in a more effective and efficient manner. The Innovation Product Specialist is a key member of the product team and plays a vital role in driving the development and success of our company's innovative products. This role requires a strategic thinker who can influence the product development process from concept to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, identify new opportunities, and develop product strategies. The Innovation Product Specialist will be responsible for informing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies, and working collaboratively with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring new products to market. Additionally, this role will involve driving change management initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of new products and processes within the organization. In keeping with Vantage Data Center's values, the Product Specialist will interact with various business units in building a positive digital environment. Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the product management and enablement process from concept to launch, including conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and defining product requirements with a specific focus on the EMEA market
  • Manage development, launch, and communications of products, enhancements, features, and functionality across the global markets, with a specific focus on the EMEA market
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and status to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, sustainability, operations, marketing, and communications to bring new products to market
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new products and processes
  • Collaborate on the roadmap and ensure alignment with company goals and strategies
  • Ensure successful delivery and implementation of new products
  • Present, advocate for, and defend product ideas and strategies in meetings with executives and members of the product development organization, ensuring alignment and buy-in
  • Duties
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback from the EMEA market to shape product strategy, development, and user experience
  • Collaborate on the EMEA product strategy and requirements to effectively prioritize deliverables
  • Lead the coordination and management of product launches, ensuring effective communication across global markets with an emphasis on EMEA
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholder to capture feedback and address concerns. Develop a culture of continuous improvement by conducting Lessons Learned meetings and implementing insights across projects and regions
  • Collaborate in the product lifecycle from beginning to end (definition, project management, implementation, testing, launch)
  • Monitor and ensure the successful delivery and implementation of new products, ensuring they meet the quality standards and requirements set forth
  • Champion change management efforts to facilitate the smooth adoption of new products and processes within EMEA
  • Manage resources, inclusive of allocating and managing the financial and technical resources required for the project, as well as ensuring that all team members have the tools and equipment needed to complete their tasks

    Minimum 7-10 years overall work experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and development
  • Experience with change management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build, cultivate and leverage personal and professional networks and relationships, develop, and deliver successful presentations, and collaborate and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to think strategically and drive results
  • Experience in the design, construction, and delivery of data centers and infrastructure projects is highly desirable
  • Able to collaborate across teams to support colleagues and resolve issues
  • Enjoy working in a fluid, dynamic organization with a minimal amount of direction
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities
  • PMP, optional
  • National and international travel required is expected to be between 5% and 10% but may vary over time as the business evolves
