As a Product Manager, you'll support in defining a strategy for our platform products, setting long-term goals, and creating a compelling product vision that aligns with our customer needs. Crucially, you'll harness a data driven approach by leveraging external insights, customer behaviour and key performance indicators to influence strategic direction.

PEC (Personalised Experiences & Communications Platform) sits within the Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) team in Consumer Relationships, playing a critical role in the delivery of our Groupwide personalisation strategy. PEC's mission is to trailblaze customer experience by developing the personalisation capabilities, tech and infrastructure needed to become an experience led brand across all channels.

As a Product Manager, you'll demonstrate:

  • Innovative & strategic mindset: Collaborating across the platform to develop compelling product visions and roadmaps, using experimentation, customer & market research and key performance indicators to drive strategic direction.


  • Cross-functional collaboration: Playing an active role in the development of our product management community of practice, modelling 'good product' culture and ways of working. Crucially, you'll champion the end-to-end value chain to customers and support insight feedback loops into product roadmaps from the business teams. Building and maintaining engagement and relationships across the Group to be active and visible in promoting our products and the benefits to our customers (internal and external).


  • Customer & value centric approach: Engaging with our customers (internally and externally) to inform roadmaps that directly address customer needs and deliver continuous value through an iterative and Agile approach.


  • Market & performance analytics: Leveraging market and competitor insights, customer behaviour and internal analytics to inform and equip our delivery teams with the strategy and roadmaps needed to achieve our ambitions.

    Prior product development experience - defining a product vision and roadmap with accountability for delivery in collaboration with product delivery teams.


  • Robust understanding of the technology landscape and capabilities required to deliver a personalisation strategy, and the business imperatives.


  • Ability to combine a strategic and product (customer centric) mentality, identifying opportunities to drive delivery plans and actions that align to strategic goals.


  • Expertise to lead within desired cost, time and quality parameters.


  • Experience building strong relationships and working collaboratively to inform and influence at all levels.


  • Ability to think strategically and have a natural curiosity for external and internal factors that could influence strategy.


  • Strong communication skills, bringing energy and a can-do attitude to ensure our products are successful.
