Product Manager - Seller App

We are looking for a gifted Product Manager to join our team and take ownership of our Seller App across both Android and iOS. This is a critical part of our proposition, generating significant engagement and revenue. In fact, our App is the preferred platform for our most engaged Sellers to respond to business opportunities. You will define and deliver a roadmap that helps Sellers get a better return on their investment on Bark, by deeply understanding our users and their challenges, clearly articulating Bark's value proposition (especially that of the App vs. our web experience) and by building out new experiences and optimising the existing core flows. You'll act as Product Owner inside a cross-functional squad alongside Design, Engineering and Analytics to deliver these changes, whilst collaborating with our Marketing and Trading teams to make sure we grow in a smart and sustainable way. You'll fit right in if you're data-driven, obsessed with understanding and solving users' problems and have a real bias to action. We'd love to see someone with a track record of having done this on a native App before, and with experience building products for small businesses. We're already profitable and incredibly proud of what we've achieved so far, but we know that most of our work is ahead of us. We have huge aspirations, and our growth plans are product-led, so it's a great time to join and contribute to revolutionising how people buy and sell services online, in the way that Amazon did for physical products. Responsibilities

• Obsess over our Sellers, and inspire others to do the same. Use qual and quant inputs to understand them better than anyone
• Set the vision and strategy for our Seller App, whilst defining and driving success
• Create, maintain and evangelise your roadmap and backlog
• Perform all aspects of the Product Owner role as part of our agile Seller App squad
• Deliver business impact through diligent discovery, clear scoping, robust prioritisation and meaningful contributions to effective, outcome-centric delivery
• Collaborate and communicate progress and prioritisation effectively to stakeholders at all levels around the business
• Take ownership of the impact of your squad - from problem to solution, launch and beyond
  
  Proven track record as a Product Manager in a fast-paced and successful online business (App experience/Marketplace experience/small business products all pluses)
• Experience working with Developers, Product Designers and Analysts to deliver outcomes that matter
• Excellent communicator - you're able to clearly present your work, explain your thinking and discuss decisions confidently at all levels
• Expert in using both qual and quant data points to form user understanding, conclusions, and guide decision making
• Well-versed in lean approaches and agile methodologies to maximise impact and minimise waste
• A self-starter that is comfortable working autonomously, whilst always remembering collaboration is key to success
• Strong commercial and technical understanding, allowing you to clearly articulate concepts to commercial and non-technical audiences as well as engineering
• Driven, ambitious and keen to grow with the company
