Full Job Description

Our Product Marketing team offers expert support to our clients, helping to launch, optimise and grow mobile apps. Building a great product is just the first step. We offer services that ensure that users are actually motivated to use it;

Through Community Management, we optimise the app rating, share valuable insights with our clients and provide users with help and support that increases customer sentiment and resolves frustration.

With App Store Optimisation we create high-performing mobile marketing campaigns that drive impressions and downloads from new and lapsed users.

And finally, with App Store Promotion we work closely with the editorial teams at Apple and Google to get our clients regularly featured in marketing promotions that are seen by millions of users.

Due to our significant growth and ongoing client success, we need an experienced and results-driven marketer to join our award winning team.

You will need a strong agency background, with experience delivering high-performing marketing campaigns for a range of brands. The right person for this role will be skilled in driving user acquisition, engagement and retention, with bags of experience pitching and presenting to clients and managing a busy team.

To give a clearer idea about what you'll be doing, below we've listed your key objectives for the first 12 months.

Campaign Execution

Working in a digital consultancy isn't your normal gig. We could land a new client with an immediate start date and be expected to start driving results in weeks or be invited to an important pitch with just a couple of weeks' notice to prepare our presentation. You'll need to be able to think on your feet and be super organised in order to juggle the resources needed to fulfil the brief.

Working with a cross-functional team is a must and experience working alongside designers and developers is needed. You will need to be able to pull together all of the various components; from writing compelling copy, and overseeing eye-catching creatives, to compiling analytics and understanding how development dependencies impact your timelines.

We will ask you questions in the interview process about your experience in delivering campaigns for other organisations. This is a critical part of the position so experience is a must.

Team Development

You'll be responsible for helping our award-winning team of product marketers get to the next level. Line management experience is a must and you will have previously led, mentored and inspired a busy team.

We have successfully fostered a collaborative and high-performing culture and so continuing to build on this and identify further training and development opportunities is important. We have a fantastic team in place, brimming with talent and enthusiasm. The right person for this role will continue to guide, and support their development, enabling them to reach new levels of success collectively.

We'll get stuck into your experience managing and growing a team in the recruitment process.

Pitching and Presenting

We are proud of our many client testimonials and case studies, championing Product Marketing. Our services support business KPIs, show a real return on investment and offer expertise that is otherwise hard to find in the market.

To win these clients, we regularly get involved in pitches and presentations, showcasing the services we provide and why they are of value. In some cases we are part of a cross-functional pitch team, in others we are talking to a brand exclusively about one particular product marketing service.

For this part of the role, we are looking for someone who is confident and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels. Who has experience securing new business and growing client relationships.

We'll want to hear examples of your experience in this area during the interview process and how you would pitch our services to a new client if you were successful.

About You

We're not going to list a load of behaviours and skills as we think we've been pretty clear here about what we're looking for. Our interview process will be focused on assessing the 3 focus areas above so please only apply if you believe you already have the experience to deliver.

Whilst we'd love to coach and grow someone into this role, given the importance of where we are at in our own growth journey and those of our clients, we need someone who is ready to go.

The role is based in Manchester so you'll need to be able to get into the office at least 3 days a week to build relationships across the business.
