Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a role within our Group marketing team (which is responsible for the marketing of Specialist Journeys Group brands, as well as those of the JG Travel Group) to drive the marketing activity for the Specialist Journeys' brands. This role will take ownership of drivingefficient, customised marketing campaigns across the different brands and working closely with product and marketing channel owners to determine which products to push using different promotions through which channels. You'll be joining a great team of marketing professionals who enjoy working together whilst delivering exceptional results. We are looking for creative and commercially focused candidates with a brand or marketing background. You must be highly organised with strong planning and organisational skills and be commercially focused with an understanding of the marketing channel mix. Ideally you will have a keen eye for detail and message as you work closely with our in-house Studio team to deliver excellent quality marketing materials and highly effective marketing campaigns. Specific accountabilities include:

  • Direct external and produce own analysis to deliver in-depth understanding of customer and product booking patterns.
  • Use customer and product insights to formulate marketing and sales activities designed to deliver agreed targets.
  • Liaise with product and yield teams to understand and agree product promotion plans designed to deliver target passengers and revenues by tour.
  • Select appropriate products for promotion to agreed customer cohorts via agreed channels.
  • Work with the Campaigns and Channel Managers to agree the selection of customers to be contacted and channels through which to contact them.
  • Liaise with channel owners to ensure smooth execution of activities on time and on budget.
  • Produce clear and unambiguous creative briefings to in-house/external studio and resources to deliver campaign assets on time and on brand.
  • Deliver clear and easy to understand reporting on the effectiveness of promotions and recommend future activities.
  • Work closely with creative team to deliver high quality, on brand marketing materials delivering the targeted messages.
  • Collaborate with channel managers to agree marketing spends and costs in line with target budgets.
  • Create competitor and product analyses and suggest improvements as necessary to ensure competitive value proposition.
  • Matrix management across departments to allow execution of marketing strategy.
