Full Job Description
You'll be reporting to the Director of Group Origination and Distribution Platforms in Content, Technology & Innovation. You will be responsible for a number of key aspects related to lifecycle and reliability of broadcast services leveraging the capabilities in Origination and Distribution. We are seeking a visionary Product Owner to be part of our dynamic Product team. This role requires a person who can balance innovative vision with practical insights, steering the work the wider team does through the complexities of product lifecycle management from ideation to retirement. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the broadcast industry and a proven track record in product development and strategic planning. What you'll do:
- Contribute to Product Vision and Strategy: Work alongside senior Product Owners to help define and refine the product vision and strategy. Learn how to align product goals with broader business objectives and market opportunities.
- Support Roadmap Development: Assist in maintaining and updating the product roadmap by consolidating input from customers, stakeholders, and team members. You will ensure the roadmap reflects both current priorities and long-term goals.
- Gather and Organize Requirements: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to collect detailed requirements. You will help translate these into user stories, ensuring they are clearly defined and ready for implementation.
- Assist in Product Backlog Management: Support the prioritization and refinement of the product backlog to keep development efforts aligned with key business objectives. Work closely with senior team members to ensure smooth workflows.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineering, marketing, design, and support teams to assist in product development and launch activities. This includes helping coordinate testing, gathering feedback, and supporting go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor Market Trends and Competitor Insights: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities. Present findings to the team to inform decision-making and product positioning.
- Track and Report Key Metrics: Help define and monitor performance metrics, such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Assist in preparing reports to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to Stakeholder Communication: Assist in preparing presentations and updates for stakeholders, ensuring that progress, challenges, and opportunities are communicated effectively.

Passion for product management and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. - Basic understanding of agile development practices and product management tools such as Jira or Aha (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving, paired with a willingness to take initiative and learn on the job.
- Broadcast television industry experience
