Full Job Description

  • Management and development of an Engineering team, supporting individual career progression across a wide career demographic
  • Leadership across a multidisciplinary engineering team, tackling complex technical problems across an exciting and diverse group of projects/products
  • Responsible for governance, planning and delivery of the Engineering programme
  • Ensure capability and skills development, performance optimisation & maximisation and efficient use of engineering and functional resources
  • Support to new bids and opportunities by coordinating Engineering estimates, technical proposals and bid reviews

    Ability to influence Engineering decisions across the full lifecycle and exposure to a broad product and customer portfolio, People leadership and project/programme management experience
  • Technical background with an aptitude for rationalising and solving complex problems
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management and organisational skills
  • Degree level or equivalent (STEM preferred)
  • Defence experience desirable

This role will have a pivotal influence on the management and delivery of key Engineering programmes across this wide portfolio.
