Full Job Description

As a Products and Propositions Manager being obsessed with the customer is crutial. This is because you'll be responsible for identifying, prioritising, assessing, designing and delivering great customer-centric commercial propositions and product developments.

Working with the wider Commercial Lending Team, you'll help create customer insight led products that have a clear commercial benefit and address our target market needs.

You'll champion product development and changes, and work with stakeholders to gain buy-in and deliver change.

You'll take the lead in managing an ongoing portfolio of change and lead on the assessment of complexity / cost / impact of delivery and establish the business benefits.

Alongside this, you'll ensure that you are delivering this in line with Group strategy as well as in line with regulatory guidance.

The role will also see you co-ordinate and deliver pricing changes and product launches - a vitally important role in an ever-changing interest rate environment.

You will ensure that all products are delivered in a timely, compliant and customer centric manner.

You'll be working with distribution, marketing, digital and operational teams (amongst many others) to bring commercial plans to life, and you'll ensure that key stakeholders are aligned through strong relationship building and influencing skills.

Please note : We are flexible on location and you can be based at any of our sites , with the requirement to travel when required.

As a Products and Propositions Manager you'll have a good understanding of how financial products work and create value for us and the customer.

This'll be coupled with a track record of creating an incredible stakeholder network and a good understanding of the wider industry and key competitors

Alongside this, you will have great experience of delivering change, you'll be comfortable communicating at all levels of the business and you'll have a collaborative approach to making things happen.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will demonstrate good digital literacy skills, expertise in data analytics, and the ability to generate valuable insights.
