Product/Quality Assurance Analyst - Be Part of Building the Future of Space Exploration at Lockheed Martin.

We are seeking a talented Product Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team in the UK. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the success of our Space programmes, from design and manufacture to launch.

What you will do:

  • Oversee all aspects of product assurance for satellite design, manufacturing, and launch.

  • Develop and implement product assurance plans and procedures in line with customer requirements and industry standards (e.g. AS9100, ISO 9001).

  • Manage and participate in quality assurance activities, including reviews, inspections, and data package management.

  • Define and document quality assurance strategies for programs, ensuring compliance with space standards (e.g. ECSS).

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams (engineering, manufacturing, customers, suppliers) to guarantee product assurance requirements are met.

  • Support risk management activities and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

  • Manage changes and deviations throughout projects.

  • Support bid efforts by reviewing and creating product assurance documentation.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for product/process discrepancies and develop corrective actions.

  • Manage and maintain quality records to ensure traceability and accountability.

  • Support product acceptance and delivery processes.

  • Participate in audits (internal, external, customer, supplier).

    Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ECSS standards (or equivalents).

  • Several years of experience in product assurance of space projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience managing workload and tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.


  • Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering (electronics, aerospace, mechanical/materials)

  • Experience with requirements management tools.

  • Knowledge of configuration management and quality auditing/certification.
