We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our dynamic Online Supply Chains policy team in the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS). In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful change and contribute to the development of innovative policies that ensure consumer safety and fair market competition.
About Us: The growth in e-commerce models has brought significant challenges to the product safety legal framework. Our team is at the forefront of addressing these challenges by developing and implementing policies that adapt to increasingly complex, online, and globalised supply chains. We are committed to promoting consumer safety and ensuring fair market competition through the Product Regulation and Metrology Bill.
About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in aiding the delivery of the Product Regulation and Metrology Bill through parliament. You will develop briefings, Q&A packs, and contribute to policy development for future legislative options and new requirements for online supply chain actors. Your work will have a direct impact on shaping the future of product safety and regulation., + Develop and contribute to briefings and Q&A packs for different audiences.
+ Respond to correspondence and provide accurate information.
+ Develop policy options for requirements on online marketplaces.
+ Collaborate across policy teams to gather evidence and inform policy options.
+ Adapt quickly to new requests, changes in policy, or new deadlines.
