If so, we'd love to hear from you!, This is a varied and rewarding role, that presents the opportunity to work within the Theory Test Transformation team at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
The successful role holder will play an integral part as a subject matter expert (SME) working within a multi-disciplined agile team creating and procuring the new transformed service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the product meets business and user needs.
+ Identification of trends and risks to consistent provision nationally and reputational damage to DVSA.
+ Understand customer requirements so that their needs can be articulated in ways to enable effective product development.
+ Take part actively in user insight activities.
+ Support the assessment of change and improvements within the product area, understanding and managing the benefits and impacts of proposed changes
+ Deliver as a SME, assurance to the Product Manager that new process developments will be identified.
For more information about the role and responsibilities please see the attached Candidate Pack., This role can be based in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham or Swansea, your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this.
During your application, you should indicate which location(s) you wish to be considered for and, if successful, you will be placed on an individual list of candidates for each location. Candidates will be held on that list and drawn from it in merit order. We advise you to carefully consider which locations you wish to be considered for. For your Personal Statement, please provide detailed evidence of the following:
o An outline understanding of Agile Delivery methodologies.
o Knowledge of project environments, ideally with experience of dealing with outsourced suppliers.
o Knowledge of Digital Service Transformation, and ideally some knowledge of the Theory Test system and how that may link to other systems.
o Experience / knowledge of using a Live Digital Service and booking / on-line assessment services.
Your Personal Statement will be limited to a maximum of 1000 words.
The sift is due to take place w/c 28th October 2024.
Interviews/assessments are likely to be held week commencing 14th November 2024.
This interview could be conducted via a video interview, details of which will be provided to you should you be selected for interview.
