Full Job Description

The role holder is responsible to support the execution of the plan taking the established monthly rate and ensure the production teams have the appropriate weekly production rate. Monitor the execution at each stage of the process including external processing (subcon) with our procurement team, raising purchase reqs as required and ensuring the machining schedules are aligned across our central machining team.

  • Support Plan Execution: Assist in executing the established monthly production plan.
  • Communicate Weekly Production Rates: Ensure production teams have the appropriate weekly production targets aligned with the monthly plan.
  • Monitor Process Execution: Track the progress of production at each stage, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with External Processors: Work closely with external processing (subcontracting) teams, collaborating with procurement to align needs.
  • Raise Purchase Requisitions: Raise purchase requisitions as required to support production and procurement processes.
  • Align Machining Schedules: Ensure that machining schedules are coordinated and aligned with central machining teams to meet production goals.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Team: Work with the procurement team to ensure smooth coordination between production requirements and external suppliers.
  • Address Production Issues: Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the production process to maintain the desired production flow.
  • Ensure Schedule Compliance: Monitor that all stages of production and external processes adhere to set timelines.
  • Adjust Plans as Necessary: Support adjustments to the plan when required based on unforeseen challenges or changes in production capacity.

    Proven track record in Supply Chain or related areas.
  • Experience in an MRO environment is an advantage
  • Production scheduling experience
  • Strong experience with MRP (SAP preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (in particular Excel and Power Point).
