Full Job Description

  • The successful candidate will work primarily on the Jessica Kingsley list, which includes print and digital products, colour and mono, fiction and non-fiction, encompassing a wide range of subjects from children's books through to professional guides.
  • You will work collaboratively with the inhouse Editorial and Design teams and our external suppliers to co-ordinate all aspects of production, both print and digital, for both frontlist and reprints.
  • You will ensure that editions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard, to enable John Murray Press to fulfil its ambitious publishing programme.

    We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive team player to join our busy production department., Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, and curious to learn, with a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ideally, you will have some production knowledge - print and/or digital.
  • It is essential that you can demonstrate strong organisation, time-management and communication skills and are able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • We are looking for someone who loves books and has a passion for getting them into the hands of readers everywhere.
