Full Job Description

Working within a team out on location at various schools across the UK, you will assist Production Coordinator and Production Manager to ensure the production runs smoothly.

You'll assist with raising purchase orders, contract requests and payments in line with BBC policies and guidelines as well as keeping detailed logs of spend.

You'll work with the Production Coordinator to pull together call sheets, booking travel and accommodation for shoots, reconciling floats along with ensuring all consent forms are returned to the office, logged and filed appropriately., The BBC is committed to redeploying employees seeking suitable alternative employment within the BBC for different reasons and they will be given priority consideration ahead of other applicants.

  • Please note this project will involve working on location across the UK and you will spend the majority of time working away from home. All applicants must hold a full UK driver's licence and must feel comfortable driving long motorway distances with others present in the car. Please note also, this role requires a relevant DBS check to be undertaken by the BBC at the appropriate level, at the point of offer of a contract of employment.

    BBC Children's and Education are looking for Production Management Assistants to join a team taking BBC Bitesize onto the road to deliver careers advice and inspiration to 125,000 secondary school pupils. The tour will take in schools across the UK and deliver 4 x hour long sessions in each school, hosted by BBC Talent, and will feature a panel of inspiring guests from a variety of industries who will change perceptions, inspire ambition and celebrate aspiration.

    Salary: Up to £28,467 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
