Full Job Description

As a Production Manager you will play a crucial role ensuring customer expectations are not only met, but exceeded through order fulfilment, support and service. The role will involve planning, organising and controlling production to ensure that production is undertaken efficiently, on time, within budget and to our customers high-quality standards,

  • To Plan, control & Co-ordinate the manufacture of Electro-Mechanical assemblies and materials through your department.

  • Oversee the production process, including the production schedule. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.

  • Managing Materials and Recourses, People, Holidays and Cover, forecasting the labour requirements to the budgetary forecast

  • Prepare and maintain production, efficiency and overdue reports and on-time delivery of KPIs.

  • Attend and lead discussions at daily production meetings.

  • Maintain a long-term capacity plan.

  • Help with the definition and implementation of standards and processes.

  • Swift and timely responses to all stakeholders; take ownership to quickly and accurately answer questions and resolve issues.

  • Collaborating with Production Engineers where required.

  • Ensure key operational processes are consistently replicated across all shifts through comprehensive and robust WI's and training.

    Understanding of automation and well-run production environments.

  • Numerate, literate and an excellent working knowledge of Excel.

  • Understands how MRP works and can production plan in a clear and concise manner.

  • Structured working approach to high quality standards.

  • Good attention to detail, decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of inventory flow and production control processes.

  • Independent and able to work effectively without guidance.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Previous experience within the electronics industry is desirable but not essential.
