Full Job Description

  • The base location for this role is Manchester Supply Site, M11 Ideally, you'll live within one hour travel of this area
  • What you'll do
  • Supporting Supervisors and team leaders to lead and motivate a team of production operatives.
  • Develop Supervisors and Team Leaders to achieve Succession Planning.
  • Coach and inspire your department, including employee engagement and best practice in the manufacturing industry.
  • Working with the Site Manufacturing Manager to ensure we meet labour and ingredient targets
  • Drive continuous improvement for your department and team.
  • Working to the values and being an effective team member contributing cross functionally to initiatives where appropriate
  • Play your part in meeting the objectives on the site business plan and ensuring these objectives are translated into Supervisor, team leader and operative PDRs.

  • Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
  • Have confident IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
  • A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
