Full Job Description

As a bakery manager, you will be a representative of Cooplands management and will have the responsibility of overseeing the performance of the manufacturing site and ensuring that standards of food production are upheld. It will also be your duty to maintain the highest levels of food and feed safety standards. Role Duties:

  • Promote Cooplands policies with the teams and set high standards.
  • Improve the reporting skills withing the bakery.
  • Improve in employee safety continuously.
  • Promote the continuous development of people.
  • Motivate and coach your team.
  • Ensure the site is within environmental operational permit and safety and design limits.
  • Review the process of performance.
  • Ensure a stable operation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that production targets, including targets for yield and efficiency, are consistently achieved even in tight deadlines.
  • Plan and schedule bakery products to align it with business needs.
  • Control the stock and budgets.
  • Improve the reliability of Process to increase capacity and quality.
  • Liaise with Maintenance teams to always maintain, solve long or short-term issues.
  • Conduct disciplinary meetings if required.

  • Level 3 Food Safety/ Stock Control training / Coaching and managing people.
  • HACCP Level 3
  • IOSH Managing Safely course or NEBOSH General Certificate
