We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join Stannah’s dedicated Homelifts business based in Andover.

This job will involve leading and managing the production team to ensure the efficient and high-quality manufacture of our innovative products. Working closely with the team on the shop floor, you will oversee daily production activities, monitor performance, and foster a culture of excellence to meet quality and output standards.

As the Production Manager, you will work 37 hours a week. This job is a permanent role.

To be successful as the Production Manager, it is essential that you have previous experience in a production management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with manufacturing planning systems and driving process improvements would be desirable.

Production Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the production team to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Organise and oversee daily production schedules, ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
  • Monitor production processes for efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Ensure all products meet high-quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to monitor team performance and address real-time issues.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Head of Production Operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational coordination.

Production Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production management role, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Experience in leading and developing a team, with a track record of fostering a positive work culture.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing planning and resource management systems (MRP/ERP).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
