Production Operative

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight

Hours: 6am - 6pm

Days: Tuesday - Thursday plus every third Monday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

Working as part of a team, to technical specifications, quality standard and health and safety regulations in the manufacture of composite materials and products,
Machine setting, operation and monitoring, reporting faults,
Receiving raw materials checking quality and updating stock control systems,
Decanting and packaging products and updating production systems,
Working to production schedules.

Experience:

Must have previous experience of working within a production environment and a good awareness of health and safety,
Previous experience of composite materials is preferred as is a knowledge of continuous improvement.
A valid Counter Balance or Pivot Steer Forklift licence is an advantage.
Must be able to work well as part of a team, to instruction, with good attention to detail and accuracy.
Must have at least a basic level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems,

Salary: £24-24,500 per annum plus non contractual bonus
