Full Job Description
We're looking for a Production Operative Stores to join our Transportation team based in Wymondham. Kier Highways Solutions (KHS) provides a one-stop-shop end to end works management and delivery capability from carriageway treatment design, product manufacture, installation, temporary traffic management through to small civils works, patching & road markings. Within this role, you can enjoy 26 days holiday plus bank holiday with the option to buy/sell, fantastic, matched pension scheme and even more., As a Production Operative, you'll be working within the Factory team, supporting them in fulfilling the day-to-day sales order requirements of Kier Highways Solutions - Wymondham plant business area, this role will play an integral part in delivering the operational requirements of the business. Your day to day will include:
- Operating bitumen and emulsion pack filling plants fulfilling production requirements, loading bulk emulsion into customer tankers and mobile plants from load out gantries
- Loading / unloading curtain-sider HGVs / couriers / customer vehicles, moving materials within the site, using weighbridge and barriers, liaising with the Factory Supervisor organising bulk collections / packed goods collection in a timely manner
- Assisting in stocktaking, reporting observations, near misses and incidents, complying to the requirements of business management system e.g. applicable quality, PUWER, RAMPS, CoSHH records, general warehouse maintenance, assisting in stocktake / site-wide housekeeping.

This role of Production Operative is great for you if: - Hold a forklift licence, but training can be provided
- Demonstrate basic numeracy skills, able to use Microsoft Office
