Full Job Description

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining booster sites, pumping stations, water treatment facilities, and tanks both indoors
  • and outdoors.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards such tasks as tank cleaning, receiving chemical deliveries, and inspection of booster
  • sites Travel to other booster sites and ensure they are operating correctly.
  • Personal responsibility for the care and maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • General grounds maintenance and landscaping.
  • Operating our sludge works, a critical part of our treatment process.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders including members of the public and customers.
  • You will be part of a small team working in a rotating weekend working pattern including some bank holidays.

    A valid UK driving licence for travel throughout the West Midlands region.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to the role are highly valued.
  • Effective organisational skills are essential to manage equipment and time efficiently.
  • A desire to learn and a driven attitude towards work.
  • Desirable skills include grounds maintenance experience, mechanical fitter and hands-on experience "on the tools."
  • Basic IT proficiency is also required.
